By the way, I called this rally into the close today back in 2003. For my next prediction, the market will go down some day in the next 13 years.
I just HOPE that you and I are NOT the only person who understands the market in dept here.

I've been watching them and hoping they can turn things around. AMD is saying their new processor architecture will provide big improvements, but i'm still doubtful on how it will compare to new Intel processors, I would like for them to be able to be comparable but my feeling is that they are too far behind and haven't had a good track history and their R&D spending was massively cut. Plus Intel is on a much smaller die size I think it's 10mn vs 28mn or 22mn not sure, but they haven't caught up to Intel in die size yet so it's hard to see how their processors can compete with Intel given that disadvantage.

I believe the expectation is that in 2016 this could turn AMD around, but I still think it's a risky bet.

I am hemorrhaging on AMD.'

AMD has a great potential and great M&A target from all over the semi-conductors.

Only problems are:
1. cost cut
2. Fullfilling stupid ass Global Foundaries wafer agreement.
3. Declining in PC sales.

GOOD IS:
1. Nintendo console refresh. This might be an old news, but people use to speculate that it would be AMD's.
2. Chinese console market entry.

Anyone else invested in CYBERDYNE 7779:JP?

Just announced a co-op in developing super computers with PEZY Computing to go in their robotic suits.

Not to mention they are also turning attention at stemcell to repair spinal nerves and more.

Thoughts? I bought 100 but thinking of buying more based on the companies potential and owner.

If I invested in a thing called CYBERDYNE , I would be super rich. I would be dead too. Therefore, I would SHORT the fictitious company called CYBERDYNE.

Don't forget Caledyne , and Globodyne.

aaaaaand no rate hike after 55 chances. What a joke, of course the Fed points to the lie of the "solid" job market. So solid in fact, that the BLS has already erased over 200k jobs which were overstated in the year ending March 2015.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-0...ing-march-2015

Median incomes continue to plunge in this wonderful "recovery".

http://freebeacon.com/issues/incomes...nce-last-year/

One Fed official even hinted that NEGATIVE interest rates for the first time in the history of America may be coming soon. May the plunder and theft from the 99% continue until the complete collapse of this shit show. What a pathetic farce all of this is. Just keep throwing more easing at it you moronic Krugmans of the world, job well done!

Rite Aid was one of my great stock calls when it was 2.70ish. I dont own em now, so down is good.

Do you know 2 years ago, I was doing who (out of Wag and CVS) would benefit most out of Riteaid M&A. I did 25 cities and see where Rite Aid was located 1/4 away from those 2 stores the most.
Very simple transparent research, but took a damn long time to do so.

so....I am closing on a $3mm loan for a borrower to buy a 'dark' Kerr Drug location that is still under a NNN lease (via the Walgreens acquisition) for another 18 years....

Basically - Walgreens is paying for this store to stay vacant to insulate against CVS moving in a taking any market share

I ask avg people and avg joe investors.
"Which company is bigger? WAG or Kroger?"
Most of people say Kroger, because stores are bigger.

That being said CVS and WAG have high book value due to the real estate.
Having $ tied up on Real Estate during Bull market is amazing. All these sales of piece of land to small businesses, rental $ etc.
However, what I've learned is that during the bear market, that will entirely wipe away from investor's valuation.

I learned the very difficult lesson during 2008 when Dillard's (which is heavy on comm real esate at that time ) went down to ~$3.50. During the bear market, no one wants to buy any stores and renovate/expand.

Dillard's was smart to convert those to REIT to create more liquidity during 2009-2010. That was smart move. When market somewhat recovered, they were selling raggity old mall to developers to create strip malls. DDS did make decent amount of $ from that.
