Excellent weekend here too.

Finished swapping the shocks and struts on my 2 series with plenty of breaks in between. Then biked to the park and listened to an orchestra play for a bit on Monday afternoon.

Capped it off with a thunderstorm at 3am last night and now it's ridiculously humid. Going to be a "feels like" 93F day today.

It was 91 F'in degrees at Chez Vreihen this afternoon. Sweltered for almost an hour driving the Bavarian Golf Cart to the dealer to have the air conditioning checked. Let's hope that the cost of repair does not exceed the value of the car.....

We're currently under another Severe Thunderstorm Watch, as storms have returned to the area. These reoccurring storms are to continue through Sunday. Sadly, this new front has brought with it higher humidity levels, present reading is 94%. This is just an introduction before we hit the Dog Days of Summer.

Wasn't that bad, hit the hot tub at it's top temperature (105°F).

Upper 60's F here, with our first round of strong thunderstorms just as I was leaving for work. More T-storms coming until early afternoon, and then a slight break from the heat. Still a ground level ozone AQI alert until tonight.....

The thunderstorms have passed us, snd now the sun is peeking through with temp in the low 80's F. New England SKYWARN is active for severe thunderstorms in Maine right now.

The local news media are reporting a possible tornado touchdown south of us this morning, but it will probably take NWS from NYC a day or so to make the official determination.....

Temperature dropped to 90* today, Humidity also dropped from 97-98% to 66%. So far less unbearable outside today. We have a 70% chance of thunderstorms overnight. That's just the norm for the past few months.

Not as bad but the ride @ 57°F was bit nippy. 3 days of rain starting tomorrow morning
