I remember when I first bought a Civic Hybrid right before crude spiked to 140/barrel.
Few people laughed that I drive a golf cart, but it was one of the smartest purchase I did on cars.

Woooo, I love the word "fire sale."

Last time I've heard that word was when stupid pig financial companies was extremely heavy on MBS, and their worthless CDS could not cover. Fire sale on MBS.

Anyways, Currently thinking about Tiguan lease. 179/mo+tax is a great deal, i think.
Only thing is that VW only has 2yr warranty, and I don't want to be liable within lease period.

Okay, my sister (who is very ilresponsible) needs a car. Mother wants me to give my precious Avalon, and lease a car. She even said she will pay for downpayment+6mo lease payment for us (for avalon give up).

So, our budget is at 179/mo lease level. I like Tiguan, but biggest thing is 2yr warranty. I haven't drove it yet, but I am sure we will like it more than 99 Avalon.

Currently leaning towards keeping the Avalon even with heavy pressure.

Gotcha...Tiguan is a fine auto....I'm sure you'll find the dealership staff extremely helpful right now....

Probably 2 sales staff for every one customer...

Why would the average punter car about what is happening to VW? Bit dodgy what they were doing, although I think a lot of manufacturers are doing the same, they just have not been caught yet.

But would it make me not want to buy a VW? Certainly not.

V1.47fan - ATM, it's the 2.0 CR TDi's that are being recalled....could expand to include more CR engines, but the 3.0 has not been mentioned as yet.

Snow! Lighter better, t will suck. I can't picture driving the q7 under any other than sunny conditions anyway so I might be a little anti all VAG these days. Slightly.

I haven't leased a car since 2006 I am way ahead of myself on a lease. It may not even happen.
I wanna make the lease payment as low as I can.

Here are my lists:
1. Toyota GORORA
Regional Lease Offer Ends 10/05/2015
$149 per month for 36 months
$1648 due at signing

2 Toyota Camury
Lease a 2015
Camry
LE
$179 per month for 36 months
$1678 due at signing

3. 2015 SONATA - FROM $21,150
Lease starting at $179/month for 36 months. $1,999 due at signing. Excludes
registration, tax, title and license. (9/1/2015 - 9/30/2015)

4. 2015 Tiguan 2.0T S with automatic transmission for $179* a month. 36-month lease, $2,499 due at signing.

Other lease sucks due to stupid residual and money factors.

Even if I win a powerball/mega million tomorrow, i just cannot justify dropping $ on cars at this time. I already spent way too much $ on cars last year.
