When we sell two of our properties we're moving out to a house with a b/i pool in the heart of Surrey with maybe a Ferrari and MV Agusta in addition to follow.

Chick-fil-A milkshakes contain a drug that makes you sleepy.

Went there last weekend for the first time in many years. Got their original chicken sandwich. Was disappointed. Think Popeyes is the best, if you like that sort of thing. I'm thinking I don't. Haven't had fast food in a while. Think I'll keep it like that in the future.

But have you ever tried their milkshakes? Lol.

I know what you mean though, I haven't eaten there in a long time as well. I do actually like their original chicken sandwich and have only had the Popeye's one once. I remember it being good but I'll be damned if I'm going to wait that long in line to get one. This was when they first introduced them to the market and every single Popeye's I ever drove by were packed, including the drive-thrus which was insane! Pretty sure it has settled down nowadays.

Side note: I love Chick-fil-A's waffle fries.

I got the waffle fries with the sandwich and they were cold. The sandwich was hot, though. My wife was commenting the other week about how good their vanilla shake was, so I got her one when I went. She said they're still good.

That's too bad. I have never had cold fries at any location so that's surprising. That's actually one thing I have respected about this franchise in that their food always seems fresh. Yeah their vanilla shakes rock, even if they are laced with something that induces sleep. Lol.

And they're closed on Sundays. Only fast food place I know that does that. Even In-n-out is open on Sundays, and their owner has some religious beliefs as well. Oh well, a day of rest, I guess. lol

Yeah obviously that's always been their thing. It's weird when you see they have a stand at a football stadium and are the only one not open for business during a FOOTBALL GAME which is of course on a Sunday (pro football).

Man I wish In-n-out was here in Georgia! I miss that.

I'm not a fan of chick fil a's milkshakes. I've only gotten chocolate as I'm not a vanilla kinda person. I was craving one the other day and I went to Dairy Queen. It was so freaking good!

I would like to spend a day or two at their corporate office. I'm so impressed with how they run things. The other day I drove up and there were at least 20 vehicles in front of me. They had people in work vests walking all the way out to the street to take orders. Someone walked my order to me before I made it to the window and I was out in around 5 minutes. Any other fast food place around here you might as well pack a bag if there are that many cars in line.

I quite like the fact that they've taken a stand for what they believe in - especially in a world where too few people stand for much anymore.

Then again, I'm also a Christian, so I agree with them too.

To clarify, are you talking about Chick-fil-A or DQ regarding the workers? That sounds an awful lot like Chick-fil-A but the way you presented it sounds like you're talking about DQ? For the record, I have never seen a DQ with that level of service, lol.

I'm sure she's talking about Chick-fil-A. They were the same for me. Very similar to In-n-out's service.

Yes that's what I thought as well, but the way it is written suggests she's talking about DQ which is very hard to imagine. The last thing she says before describing the service is that she went to DQ and it was "so freaking good".

rebekahb, we're on pins and needles over here! Lol.

You've never heard that term before? Get off my lawn! Frick I use it and I'm still in my 30's. Not for very long, but I'm embracing it while I can for the next few months before the big 4-0.
