Well look at this, Damon Hill of all people has said that Max is on the right road to haul in eight championships if things work out for him.
As Hamilton is slowly stepping himself back from the scene it's unlikely that Checo will be there apart from street circuits. Others like Russel and Alonso will get closer and Ferrari will take a long time to reorganise once again.

With reference to Sainz's time penalty and his strong objection to it losing any points that he may have had, even Jolyon Palmer is saying he has no sympathy and he could have avoided doing that with the penalty being right on. Sainz should really wise up and try harder.

He and Alonso have significantly more wins than they do poles.

Hamilton has 103 poles and 103 wins.

It was an odd stat the way it was posted. It should have said percent of wins from pole. It was just taking total poles and total wins.
