Best thing about Suits is watching the mildly chunky fellow choking on the modern cut, two size too small suits.

Man you guys are tough critics. Granted I've watched some bad series to the end just because it keeps getting harder and harder to find anything good out there any more.

The funny thing is, it took me 3 tries of starting and stopping Bosch before I got into it. I watched an episode or two and thought meh a couple of time before starting over a third time and getting hooked.
Glad you came back to it. Bosch is a good one. I really enjoyed that series. I was a little nervous when they announced the spinoff but I found the spinoff to be a great continuation. RIP Lance Reddick. Irvin Irving is my favorite character in the series.

A great series to be sure. Irvin Irving was a great character but I think I liked Crate & Barrel better, they remind me of some of the guys I worked with back in the day.

Looking forward to the next season.

Call em how I see em. So many start OK to even excellent but by the 4th episode go to shit.

The Watcher
Yellowjackets
Anything with Toni Collette
The Sinner

All had me interested but by the 4th episode ..... i'm so fucking out.

Last of Us was good, only need to wait 18 months for season 2. Dexter follow up was good too but that's also dead so yeah, right now, it's all shite.

That episode was purposely designed to feel different. This season is a deviation from the tech-heavy under/overtones we’ve come to expect, but the first few episodes feel familiar.

Just finished watching this:

Fun fact.... Michael Barnett (main guy in this docuseries) was my boss circa 2005-2007 when I was in undergrad working at a Circuit City in Lafayette, IN...... so yeah this is all pretty disturbing and also extremely intriguing to me.

I m a big fan of these three knuckleheads but this special seemed a bit of a tipping point. It's not bad TV, but felt very flat and TBH I fear the reason is Clarkson and May are just too old for a proper adventure. Clarkson especially seems bloated and struggling to keep up, fat jokes aside.

Again, it's worth watching but it just seems............ flat.

Agreed, they both seem to be running on empty and I suspect Hammond isn't far behind. They've been at this for a very long time and might need to change the approach or walk away while they're still relevant.

James May is still doing good TV. I recently watched some his toy-based stuff and enjoyed them.

I finished up The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel last week. It felt as though they rushed to get to the finish line in the last season. Even so there were a couple of really good episodes. It's definitely not a series for everyone but I laughed quite a bit. There are almost no unfunny lines; everything they say is trying to be a joke. Relentless.

I'm going back through the Harry Potter movies again currently. The acting really is as bad as I remembered, and the story lines still jump around or else wander like a drunk, but this time through I'm able to pick up more of the overall thread.

Lightbulb

I am NOT in the least bit surprised.
I watched the very first episode with an open mind. It is pure garbage. The very dark direction the producers and Director decided to go is simply NOT appealing nor entertaining. I read a very interesting article somewhere recently about this. I believe it was Rolling Stone, about how there had to be multiple reshoots and how staff were "very uncomfortable" with certain requests and scenes.
But even without all of the controversy, it is trying too hard to be "controversial".
Good riddance...

I'm on Episode 2. Seems decent so far. Curious to see which way they'll take it.

In other news, Warrior Season 3 is now streaming. Can't wait to start it!

I'm looking forward to Warrior season 3, really enjoyed the first 2. Started Witcher Season 3 last night, 2 episodes down and it's pretty good so far. Lots of action. I have Jack Ryan & Hijack in the cue and then Warrior I guess.

We started watching Sons of Anarchy last week and are done the first 2 seasons. My wife is really enjoying it, I watched it a few years ago. It's on pause while we catch up on the new releases.

Finally, something decent to watch:
