I'm definitely, clearly not as wealthy as a lot of the members on this forum, but I adore the watch my wife bought me as a wedding present.

Next watch is definitely an IWC.

I'm wearing a Rado chronograph. Got it free a few years ago when I received a gift certificate from the Rolex dealer where I bought my daily driver Milgauss.

Rado dealers usually get excited when I wear it because there aren't many around. One store manager called over the whole staff to look at it.

You're giving e90post way too much credit. Wealthy people don't post on forums. We're all upper middle class here.

No, it's not .
It's hard to say what it is but looks like a watch with an ETA movement .

Pretty sure it's not as well. It can be any one of the many companies that make watches of that style.

How would you tell it's an ETA movement?

I have seen some cheaper watches with that day/date configuration at 3 o'clock position .Besides ETA, I have to say that watch might house a Seiko movement .Seiko sells movements as well as producing nice watches .I also say Seiko because Day / Date at 3 o'clock is pretty common for watches using Seiko movements

There are just too many manufacturers out there to make anything more than a guess given the photo quality, but from a probability standpoint, ETA would be the best guess just by shear volume of their movements in the industry... I guess.

^def not a Rolex judging by the date configuration. Best guess a Seiko diver followed by a Casio.

Def not a Seiko. OK, that's really just my fervent hope - couldn't bear the association, and I love Seikos. But I don't think they make that kind of direct Ro-sub style, probably an Invicta (at least he deserves to wear an Invicta - it would go with that tape on the back of his tie).
