It's not even close to being as good. It is WAY, WAY too slow. I enjoyed it. gladded I watched but fuck me it was drawn out. Oh 4 minute still frame watching an ant eat a spilled juice box, may as well have ended the series with "fin" like every 90's cliche student film.

I agree, way too slow. I had to abandon it. I tried to watch it on two separate occasions over 2 years. I don't understand the hype. It's all good, just not for me.

Late to the table but the wife and I just started watching Suits and it's been a great show to watch and highly recommend it!

I agree. Better Call Saul was worth watching but didn't have the magic of Breaking Bad. The story was naturally limited by it being a prequel. I think it did a good job in general but the final episode was boring and there were several like that. There were good moments and bad ones. It did have 2-3 of the shocking moments like BB so I enjoyed it, just not as much as BB.

I wonder if that evaluation and comparison is more of a recently watched bias?
I also didn't think that Ahsoka was very good.

Ahsoka was also slow and perhaps trying to be Indiana Jones and more like anime?

They even spent considerable time with characters essentially debating if Wren should have a role on the show... I didn't see Wren as a good character. She just seemed selfish to me. Granted I haven't watched all of Rebels but I bet that most of the Disney audience hasn't gotten thorough all of clone wars and rebels. If the show expects that as a crutch then that doesn't seem like good writing... I also am not sure that Wrens past should justify current behaviors either way though...

I suppose Andor started slow and ended up good so I will watch the next episode or two
of Ahsoka and see how it goes but it was a disappointing start for me.

I have not heard a good review of Ahsoka yet, pretty dissapointed. Will give it a go but starting off as a bummer.

We watched both episodes last night and didn’t think it was bad. Some good lightsaber battles etc etc…..I despise most of the newer movies (except for Rogue One) but these spin off series aren’t bad.

I really enjoyed the first two season when they came out, I found the ending of this season a bit moist.

Good show though!

It's probably been mentioned in this thread, but just watched the 4 or so seasons of this early 2000 tv series... The Guardian... Fabulous..

That's your opinion, maybe you missed out of some stuff and nuances. However, I do think the ending wasn't ideal.

I think ppl are mostly always influenced by what they see first, it's psychological, and I intentionally make an effort to not to fall into that. Anyway, I think Vince honed his chops and I like BCS much better.

I think people are influenced by trying to look cool by saying BCS was better than Breaking Bad.

That doesn't make sense and I never heard that. If anything, it would be the other way around.

If you wanna accuse me of 'being cool' cuz I'm aware of that psychological effect of ppl usually preferring whatever one saw/heard first, sure.

My wife really likes it. I think it’s ok. In fairness I haven’t paid enough attention to it while it’s on and probably need to go back to Season 1 and start over.
