Dempsey and Makepeace.
Good 80's undercover police series about an NYPD cop sent to London for his own protection after angering a mob figure but causes mayhem with his hunches which usually turn out to be right. It's OK if a bit overblown at times but needs it to make it watchable. Last edited by M5Rick; 06-13-2023 at 05:37 AM.. |

Some of these episodes last two hours and in this rather long clip Lieutenant Dempsey meets his team mate Sergeant Makepeace for the second time @ 5:25.

I just finished season 1 of FUBAR on Netflix. Good acting by Arnold and how he used lines and references to himself from movies in the past.. The plot is somewhat over the top, but it's entertainment.
I've been watching the new show Lazarus Project on TNT. It's Groundhog Day with a good plot. I like shows with time travel so this one is right up my alley.

Clark on Netflix. It's funny as hell, definitely check it out. It's about Clark Olfaffson who is responsible for the term Stockholm syndrome.

I know what you mean. I just continued to watch because of the insults between the characters. Some of the lines are really funny. The story line is little out there and unrealistic compared to similar shows about CIA and undercover story stuff.

I'm probably super behind on this one but I finished Season 1 of The Sinner and started on Season 2. I actually started Season 1 over a year ago, got two episodes in and put it down. It was very slow to build but thought I'd give it another go. Turns out that I like it well enough to keep watching.

Season 1 was the best and went progressively downhill after that I think.

So we watched GT tonight, it was pretty funny and played as can be expected with a bit less drama than in the past. I wonder if May, Hammond and Clarkson are getting a bit old for some of the more challenging adventures. If you're a fan you'll enjoy it.

I'm a massive fan. The original Grand Tour was a mistake but the pivot to specials was brilliant.

I tried watching Grand Tour but I was mildly amused, Jeremy on his farm with a cast of characters is hilarious.
