Great qualy by Max but I really wanted to see Russell get it. Oh well.

Turn 1 chaos expected, Max vs two Merc drivers. Russels final hurdle to the Merc seat is a well executed pit maneuver in T1. Danny R day dreaming of being the Ocon of Spa.

This is last time a back marker qualified in the top three in the wet, he was then promoted to Mercedes. Canada 2013.

If I look at the rain radar predictions, it'll be raining at Spa Francorchamps non stop from about 14.00h to 22.00h (0-2mm/h), with major rain between 16.00h and 17.00h (2-5mm/h).
Apparently at the moment it's dry.

I hope it'll be a crash free race.

The Run-off area is planned with probably a large gravel trap ...
