Hello all, my name is Tyler and I have decided that the car I am going to buy in the fall will be a 2009 BMW 135i. I will have my current daily driver paid off by the end of this summer so I am planning on selling or trading it in. Then buying a new 135i to replace it.

I figured that with an investment of this much money I wanted to research it a bit before hand, and I figure the best way to do that is a forum where I can hear first hand accounts from owners of the cars, and not just hyped up talk from the dealer.

I will be on here a lot, probably wont post very much but I mainly just want to learn everything there is to know about the car before the time comes when I am negotiating a price in the fall.

Hi, my names Phillip. I just baught a '09 128i about 2 1/2 weeks ago and I'm in love with it. I'm also into Jeeps, especialy wranglers. I like off-roading as much as autox and road racing, but unfortunately had to get rid of my wrangler right before I got my 1-series. I'm looking forward to being apart of this community.

Hi guys, actually had this car late august for my sister. Personally wanted it myself, but it was my older sister's turn for a new car. She's off to get a minicooper, so this 128i is mine

I just want to somehow get HID running on it, along with just lowering springs... Not too performance oriented since I have cheaper fun on my bike...

Running into a lot of roadblocks regarding getting some sort of HID conversion going already. Might look into what the audi 4 people do with the s2k retrofits. Apparently the computer warning will pop an error if theres a difference in wattage and most 3rd party fixes for this error message don't work according to forumers. Also, retrofitting isn't as ez as pie since baking is out of the question because of a new composite bmw sealed the headlights with... oh well, time to research.

On a sidenote, any1 purchase the service manual for the 128i?

Name's Don and I picked up my 135 on New Year's Eve. Traded in a 2001 325i that I loved dearly but when repairs began to pile up, my VSO said it had to go. Began looking around for a new ride, narrowing it down to a Lexus IS350 and a 128i. Had driven the 135 but was taken aback by its power.

However on the last day of 08, while trolling for the best deal on either the Lexus or a Beemer, I decided to try the 135 again and just loved it. It looks great in the garage and drives even better on the road.

I registered a while back but just started posting today. I've had my 2008 BMW 135i for about 6 months now. It's black on black, fully loaded. Only mod so far is the JB3, but about to go crazy on it!
