Fresh out of the oven. With the left-over dough, I made some pizza balls that you cut in half and add some of your favorite toppings. Top with cheese and tomato sauce. Microwave for 30 seconds for a quick snack.

I just grubbed some serious leftovers: Chile relleno, extra meat/potato stuffing from there, beans, rice and cheese.

I'd add a picture, but who really wants to see a dirty tupperware dish????

My baby brother invited me to dine with him at local Pho, said he "had something" for me. I enjoyed the fried tofu again.
During the wait for the egg rolls, he handed me a certified check (about $1.7B Canadian) Said I loaned him money years ago, he thought we were about square now.

Needless to say, I picked up lunch . . .

You have reminded me of the best chile relleno that I have had. It was from a little restaurant at the Salton Sea. I'm too far from California now to do nothing but dream.

I'm NOT saying this just in case my wife ever reads these but there has never been a rellono to come even remotely close to what she and her sisters make.

When my (Irish) mom used to make chile relleno casserole, it set me off to ever want to consider relleno. But then one day it was that or nothing, so I was introduced to the real thing.

My mom layered a glass pan with egg mixture and sliced green chiles from a can, if that's any indication of just how different it was.

Hibachi. Steamed rice, chicken, shrimp, beef and an over-easy egg. Delicious. No pic for you.
