I've come accustomed to using magnifiers combined with eotecs over the years, as well. Really comfortable with that set up.
The recoil on the SCAR is surprisingly light the first couple trigger squeezes, even though it's chambered in 7.62.
When compared to M14s or M110s, the SCAR is easier for recoil management.

Finally had the chance to get to the range with my buddies Sigs. I think I'll be getting a P320 xcompact over the P365X. The 365 still felt small in my grip and I needed to adjust during firing. Better than my XD-S, but still small. The 320 was very comfortable right from draw.

Agreed! I alluded to this during a discussion in either this thread or my law enforcement thread (…that was subsequently deleted with the other political posts). We have the right to due process, freedom of speech, etc…..all without doing anything to "earn" it or prove why we should be entitled to it. The second amendment shouldn't come with provisions to validate its application. Justice Thomas is rational, reasonable and fair.

Well said! Rational and fair are two words that can't be used to describe weak fear mongering enablers of tyranny.

I love that Justice Thomas was the one who said this too, especially after the horrible treatment he received from Brandon, an actual racist, during his confirmation hearings.

I'm in a shall issue state but I'm extremely happy for those people in non friendly states.
My state is moving the way of NY and CA. Just got the stupid magazine ban which is one I hope gets overturned.
Glad I'm not in IL with it's new unregistered gun ban.

The entire question of what the 2nd A defines is coming to a decision. I am of the belief those who have tried to ban certain types of guns or limit ownership and carry based on proving some special need or skills will not be pleased with the end result.

Curtailing New York and California's nonsense is the best way to safeguard your state. Those two states are cancers. I won't retire here in California.

I retired when I lived in Santa Clara. I chose AZ as it offered politics more aligned with mine. Cheaper cost of living. Golf 365 days a year. 24 years now and no regrets.

I'd pass on Florida cause I hate high humidity but to each their own. Better than California.

I think it'll truly come down to tax rate(s) and where my pension money will have the most room to stretch its metaphorical legs.

Sedona was great and I grew up visiting family in Phoenix/Tempe, so I'm somewhat familiar with Arizona as a state. I also dated a girl who lived in Kingman and one who lived in Flagstaff.

I spent a lot of time in Austin due to another female I dated. Austin was too blue for me, but it's clean.

I'm heading to Miami in September to get a lay of the land. We'll see how I feel about it after spending some time there.

The fear-mongering NYC TV news talking heads and politicians are now in a scramble to pass laws prohibiting the possession of guns in certain places like schools and government buildings. Funny thing is that guns are already prohibited in schools per NY State Penal Code, Post Offices per federal statute, and even our county office building and courthouse per posted policy on a sign right outside the door. In other words, nothing has changed.....

All of that work and redundancy to restrict the group of people you don't need to worry about all while going soft (…and "woke") on the group of people you should be worrying about (…most who would be prohibited from obtaining a CCW anyway due to their criminal record(s)). We live in a deliberately ass backwards society.
