Yep. Especially the sunlight thing. If we lived in my fiance's old house, she had a little 2bd/2bath home on 17 acres, completely surrounded by trees. The way her house and roof were aligned it would have made more sense to just put them on the ground, but the amount of land we would have to have cleared would not have been inconsequential so they could face south all day.

Don't worry, someone will invent something to solve your real and actual problems. You just need more faith is all. They got a guy working the problem in the back room right now...

No second thoughts, don't be this guy:

My cat can see it and she's really old, but not stupid.
What seems haphazard and winging it has actually been carefully crafted.
Break it and reset "our" way.

Not so fast skippies.

Uh huh....I suspect typically you would say the libtards are too dumb to accomplish anything good, but then turn around and claim they are capable of pulling off a global conspiracy?

And that's the thing. I sit on 40 acres, mostly a forested mountain. Old growth forest. I could tear out 3 acres of trees on the mountain and maybe get enough sunlight. It would then look ugly and ruin the whole reason I live here; and risk an erosion issue. All for what, the sun can make electricity for me?

Most of the world, other than the rich Western part, doesn't give a shit about globalwarmingclimatechange.
Actually, it isn't true that the rest of the world doesn't care about climate change, particularly where they understand it. We in the U.S. are a bit of an outlier in our irrational skepticism and our disinterest in taking action.

Just back from South America and had numerous enhancements with indigenous communities. They were quite concerned.

... because rich white American government officials come down and tell them to stop cutting down the rain forest and the Amazon River is going to dry up?

Or is it you've explained to them your climate fixing machine compensates for axial precession, and they need to convince us Americans we need to ruin our economy and lower our standard of living?
They have seen the effects of climate change themselves. Particularly shrinking glaciers, changing water availability, and fire frequency and severity.

Depends on the overall mass worldwide and rate of change.

The 2023 KIA EV6 is getting rave reviews. Most of them saying its even better than tesla in many ways. Coming to the US in 2023.

It has a new battery system where it can charge up to 80% in 10 minutes.

We know why glacial mass has changed in the past. Climate has changed in the past of course. We understand Milankovitch cycles well.

They didn't have the powers of a carbon tax. We do.

Red herring. You act as if there is some vast conspiracy.

Stability can be determined though mathematic calculations for significance/change. Rate of change compared to the long cycles can also be compared. That is literally the “baseline”, how rapid the change is relative to past fluctuations. Also modeling with super computers the effects of CO2 and trapping heat. This isn’t something just invented on a whim. Ive had meteorology courses. Ive been exposed to the computer models. This is not a hoax or giant conspiracy. Ive ridden with these scientists to their work fields in the arctic. Ive been there and seen the effects in person.

It’s definitely nice but did I read that right? 200 miles of range? And only 3.4 0-60? Lol yeah car makers have work to do to catch Tesla in those depts. But that interior is super nice not gonna lie.

Comparing a Kia that's about half the price of a Tesla? Let's be honest and compare apples to apples. The model 3 is not the apple is this equation.

The ev6 said it’ll cost 60k+.

Compare that to the model 3 performance.

Ah, I missed the specs, you should call it the EV6 GT (performance version) I was thinking more along the lines of the base model. And it still should be SUV to SUV so what is that, model Y?

EV6 GT to model 3 perfomance is still $25k cheaper in my money... not double.

Model 3 performance starts at 62k.

Kia gt line is 57k and the GT they expect it to be 60+.

So that’s the same price range.

lol, the EV6 GT will be just as expensive if not more than the M3P and performs worse. The cheapest Model 3 is also cheaper than the base EV6. Pricing in Canada must be wild.

Right, Teslas are not cheap in Canada according to the Google. The EV6 base starts at $45k and GT for $75k CDN(I was looking at GT-Line earlier.. stupidly named sub models). Model 3 base is at $61k and performance at $84k.

The point I was trying to make earlier was that it should be compared to the SUV, no? The model Y performance is slower than the GT according to a quick search 3.7s vs 3.4s and costs a bit more still.
