Today was a practice round. James, my puller, gave me some good suggestions - thanks James!. We worked on straight birds from short distance, standing directly behind the trap and also to the left, where I need practice. It helped alot. I shot an heirloom Iver & Johnson single shot 20 gauge, as much for nostalgia as to see if it would be a preferred gun. I think I will save the 20 gauge for small game, and stick with the 870 12 gauge and Citori 16 gauge for trap.

Was at teh show this past weekend, looking at one table that had 3-4 levers. Guy in front of me points at one and asks "Is that a .22?" The guy behind the table jumps up out of his chair, "NO! I like girls. That's a 30-30" I had to walk away

So, at this show: I got a bag of fruit candies (low blood sugar) The wife got some cutters and pliers, and some random chinese gold coin mounted for her to wear.

She didn't even want to go

They are banning bulletproof vests in NY don't see how that makes everyone safer? Also not allowing guns at malls despite the recent mall shooting where a legal carry citizen took out the killer apparently they don't want a Good Samaritan to save the day and only bad guys should have guns.

I miss my x95 sometimes. It was just too gassy to shoot suppressed.

I had the geiselle trigger mods in it. Made it much nicer.

Ill do the lightning bow first. Unfortunately suppressors are illegal at a state level here.

It’s a mossberg 464 and 30-30, I don’t like it at all. It’s way too small for me to shoulder. But it’s the kiddos gun, so I don’t have to shoot it. Lol

Pity. Looks cool. I've never owned nor shot a lever gun. Kind of jumped right into semi-autos from the get go.

I notice a nice Ruger 10/22 with suppressor in your picture. I love mine. I have put many rounds down range with it. I bought it and the suppressor with the thought that zero recoil and zero noise might win the wife unit over to shooting. It didn't.

Yeah I was never into them either. He convinced me to get one, lol. The 10/22 is a blast to shoot, maybe the wife would like some kick and noise? Mine likes to shoot the shotguns over anything smaller and silenced. I try not to figure women out.

My son loves the 10/22.
He built a G36 clone out of one.

That's beautiful!!
I've wanted an HK G36c for the past few years now! Your son definitely has an eye for detail when building that replica. I just had to wait until I move again sometime next year to start adding to the collection again.

Thanks! He likes building stuff based off other things.

Guess what movie this build is from? It's also a .22LR with a 4.5" barrel and a suppressor under the handguard. He couldn't afford an ACOG though.

His 16th birthday is coming up, he hasn't decided what to build this year.
