This has been a continuing problem for me. Never a problem hitting the home page but when I try to enter any part of the forums it’s a crapshoot. A good percentage of the time the site hangs when trying to access a thread. I cancel the attempt, go do something else for a few minutes, and try again and it works.

Noticed too that the site is sluggishly operating since a couple of days.

Something is definitely web-crawling the site, hopefully not to train an AI bot in all of humanity's secrets posted in BP-OT.

I have been receiving "popular post" awards notices almost daily, for posts in this section that only a web crawler would be reading.

I'm not a frequent app user, but also noticed that the iOS app was throwing frequent "cannot form a connection" errors late in the week in the late morning EDT.....

I'm having the same issues with the Android app. I was thinking it was just the wi-fi at work but maybe not.

The admins really need to step it up and fix this issue. Site is dog slow. Something is killing your resources. Look at your connections to it!

Calling all stations. Jason, is Bimmerpost encountering a DDoS attack the past couple of days or some web crawler / spider bot slowing down the site ?

It gets increasingly harder to navigate on Bimmerpost.

Finally on the fourth time hitting reload I connected. Again I thought it was the work wi-fi but if other people are having the problem maybe not

Glad I came across this post too, I've reset my router twice, thinking it was my network.

It’s way worse than normal. I keep getting a “2377” error and can barely load anything
Or it says it m not logged in

Site does seem responsive, but its still dropping packets. Would not call it fixed.

So while the site seems fine for browsing for the last week or so, the packet dropping during ping remains.

This suggests a potential misconfigured firewall policy where some end points behind the load balancer are responding to ICMP, but others are not. (taking a wild guess as to how the site is configured)

Admins, you may want to take a look.

My load balancer has been wonky for some time now. I tried a reverse TCP1 interface, but alas, there was DARFCON interference from level 2 up to the trim packet. Not sure what to do next. So frustrating.

Does any of that have anything to do with flux capacitors? Because I've been frustrated by mine for a while.
