Beer & pacalola most any time!?
Can't drink beer anymore. I have a hiatal hernia and the carbonation from beer is very uncomfortable for me. Gets stuck in there and causes a lot of pain.

Saw a doc and surgery is not recommended. Just live with it.

I was always hanging with friends working on our cars/riding dirt bikes. We did some dumb stuff, but were never out all night partying. I commuted to college and worked full-time, so the college social life was unfortunately something I missed out on as well.

I do remember one time I was working at Dunkin in high school, a friend and I had a bet for who could do more espresso shots. He did 10, I stopped after 9. That was the first night I went home and just laid in bed watching the sun come up until I had work the next morning. An odd feeling for sure, and I don't recommend it. We both thought we were going to die.
My parents never drank, still dont....my dad will have 1 beer with me if he comes over for a holiday.
I had just gotten out of a long (7yrs) relationship when I was 24 and a friend drug me kicking and screaming to a club. That was the gateway for me. We were there at least 2 nights a week and their sister club at the beach during the summers. It was just natural to drink in that environment. We would walk in the door and 2 beers and a shot were waiting on the bar for us everytime from our favorite bartender.
Truthfully, I wish I never did start but I control myself.

I throw back bourbon/whiskey like it's no one's business and dabble in quite a bit of tequila too. I dont turn down too much except maybe gin.

I avg 2-2.5 gallons of water/day, so even if I drink heavy I don't think my body ever full dehydrates. So I think the lucky combo of that & good genetics really helps.

I've been to clubs, and went to bars with my college girlfriend and her friends, but besides the occasional fun night on a weekend or Friday night there wasn't much besides that. I can see the draw, but it never really appealed to me. Maybe I'm just different? I'd rather go experience something or see a new place.
