Finally!
I was looking around the BMWUSA website. They updated a bunch of stuff. My G90 M5 came out to $126k. Really not bad at all. - They finally updated the USA site with the 2025 540i xDrive. Still no Dynamic Handling Package for the 540i which is super lame! So if you want the M Sport, you have to accept the stiff M Sport suspension, but you can still special order the car with Adaptive M Suspension from your dealer. - They added 550e xDrive for the American Market finally! Again, still can’t add the Dynamic Handling Package on that one either. LAME!! - They updated the i5 too. This one made me scratch my head: The 2025 i5 M60 model now has the option for the Dynamic Handling Package, and it comes with Adaptive M suspension and Active Roll Stabilization but now it costs a whopping $3,600 bucks! That’s highway robbery! Considering you can option a base 330i with the DH for only $1050 bucks, although no ARS system included. And the 2024 i5 M60 came with the Adaptive M Suspension and Active Roll Stabilization as STANDARD! What the hell BMW??!?! - Additionally in the 2025 i5 M60 you can add Individual Full Leather: Dark Violet/Atlas Grey and Taupe/Atlas Grey, both of which look fantastic but looking closer at the configurator I can’t see any differences or additional leather or cross stitching to the dash or upper door trims. So then you pay $3,500 for a Full Leather option and you don’t even get a leather dash or door trims/panels??? What does this bode the G90 M5 come March 2025, when they finally offer a Full Leather option for the G90???? Seems like the G90 M5 pricing is great, but I can’t agree with some of the decisions they are making for the American Market in all 5-Series models including the M5. The lack of Soft-Close doors, a Premium Sound System, massage seats, and possibly a true Full leather option, across the entire 5-Series line up is greatly disappointing for me. Hopefully the future model years of the G60/G90 5-Series addresses some of these issues. Edit: Was just looking deeper into the Standard Features for the G90 M5, and it seems that the American Market G90 M5 WILL NOT come standard with 4-Zone Climate Control. Instead it states: - Dual-Zone Climate Control including micro-filter and automatic air recirculation. What the HELL BMW??? You can’t even equip the top of the line 5-Series with 4-Zone Climate Control as standard, or at least as an option?? What are you making here, a Cadillac???!!! Geesus! And I thought the 2013 M5 missing Adjustable Side Bolsters was bad. This is almost criminal the amount of stuff they are leaving out of the G60/G90!

Heated and cooled seats are part of the Executive pkge? Really, on an M5? Thats pathetic. Reminds me of when BMW added LED taillights to the 2003 M3 refresh and than took them away for the E90 only to bring them back again. LOL.

Yes, and I will tell you why: on the F90 M5 the regular steel brakes squeaked a lot. Now, if you add over 1000 lbs to the G90, those brakes are going to scream and holler like crazy! Mark my words on this.

Edit: I’m surprised but also not surprised that BMW is sharing the interior options with the i5 M60. Surprised because you couldn’t get an M5 leather interior in an M550 but not surprised due to cost cutting.

It’s nowhere close to the Bowers and Wilkins in the other models. It sucks. The speakers don’t light up, either…
It’s a highly watered down system.

The price isn’t horrible but that’s relative. The car is slower….which whatever…..but they have decontented a lot on the 5 series. The B and W is basic….you won’t be getting leather on the doors, soft close doors, 4 zone heat/AC, carbon roof is now a cost option, etc. so you guys might actually feel you are paying too much for what you now get. This same price got you way more on the F90.
It makes the i5 m60 pretty attractive given you can get 10 percent off not including the $7500 EV credit….and it’s barely slower than the M5 will be. It’s like literally a $1000 per month payment difference (assuming you won’t get a discount on the M5 at first).

The M5 is actually pretty well-priced. The only two packages we get in Canada are the exterior carbon package and advanced driver assistance package, both which I could care less about and excluded, the price came out to be $147k.
It's a lot of car for $147k regardless of how you feel about this M5 and how it goes against everything BMW M. |

Have owned both B&W systems and while the watered down one certainly doesn't sound as good as the diamond, it doesn't suck. I'll assume it'll sound exactly as my i5 m60. Very good system, just doesn't allow for infinite volume with infinite clarity, like the diamond does. But it's a very good system and sounds better than any hk I've owned.
