i wonder if HAM is just going to try to follow ROS and secure 2nd place, that way ROS won't get any ideas like he did in Spa

That would be the clever and therefore most likely plan. However Rosberg is trying to unsettle Lewis so my guess is that Lewis is going to fire on all cylinders and win the race. If Rosberg takes him out he will not get away with it, I think even if it's a "racing incident" he will be harshly punished if they touch and Rosberg's car is the only one that can continue.

Hamilton has to go for the win. He can't afford to follow Rosberg around and hope for the best. If anyone does any foul play it's Lewis. Nico even said it in the driver's briefing. For Lewis an accident is great, he doesn't need points if Nico doesn't finish. What happened in Spa was a freak situation to slice someone's tire so precisely and not have your front wing sliced off. I think Nico is more worried about Hammer doing something fishy than the other way around.

Incredible race by Hamilton. Bummer for Rosberg and the car problems. Great race by Williams.

Well Deserved Championship!
Congrats to Lewis Hamilton!!!
Kinda anti-climactic after his rocket start but still nice to see how he controlled the race from start to finish. Even better in my opinion was how Nico Rosberg handled defeat. He stated flatly that his troubles had no bearing on the outcome of the race. Rosberg put on his big boy pants and made it a point to congratulate Hamilton. I don't know that Hamilton would have done the same. Congrats again to Hamilton!

It was done the second Lewis flew off the line. That start was amazing, he then easily pulled a 2+ gap.
Nico's mechanical issues played no role. Congrats Lewis, well deserved. |

Kudos to HAM. Glad to see the double points BS didn't influence the outcome.

Big day for Rosberg today admitting to himself that Lewis deserved to win the WC, that he is currently the faster racer and that he ( Rosberg ) need to work on his racing. The quali speed is already there.
As for Lewis, huge congrats and well deserved. This was the best outcome for F1 and Mercedes as well. Nice ending to a good season and really nice to see Williams up there with their two nice guys. I would usually have liked to see Massa get a win but not today. Today was all about HAM. |

I felt bad ROS had mechanical problems but it wouldn't have changed anything, after his poor start and HAM lighting start, there was no stopping HAM. well deserved championship
Fun season overall, even though Mercedes dominated, it was still entertaining. Will miss Jenson Button if in fact that was his last GP |

Regarding JB I have a very sour taste in my mouth towards McLaren management. Robbing one of the nicest guys in F1 and a champion from a proper on track farewell after serving McLaren for years due to an obvious inability to make decisions is unforgivable. Shame on you Ron Dennis unless the plan is to keep JB.
