Spotify Comes to BMW ConnectedDrive

Not a dealbreaker for me. The standard iPhone integration works very well.
Hands-free phone calls and iMessage dictation through Siri are all I really need.
And I'd rather not be distracted by icons on the in-dash touchscreen.

Oddly, "BMW Group" is still listed among the technology partners on Apple's CarPlay page:

Care to share any links with us with any indication that BMW said "no" to CarPlay?

anyone know if this is working on e90 with cic + combox? in the uk?

doesn't show up in my bmw apps....

no worries I deleted the app and re-downloaded bmw connected...now showing up

It was talked about at factory training about two months ago when I went to woodcliff lake.

So it is very buggy, my current issues are:

1. When playing a track from an album or playlist you CANNOT do a simple click to view the album or playlist to see the tracks as you can on Spotify (on iphone or laptop) or as you can via the normal media services on iDrive.

2. The integration sometimes gets confused and either shows the wrong or incorrect album covers.

3. It's still a pain having to connect via cable and start the Spotify app manually.

So in my 335i f30 06/12 production, can't control spotify with the idrive and don't have access to any app on the idrive too , anyone with the same problem? I just update the idrive software and have the latest version of spotify on my iPhone 6! Any help thanks in advance

I have the same problem, when I load Spotify it will only show the first song I started with. When I change song it doesnt show that song, sometimes delayed changing, i hope they fix soon...Do you have similar problems?
