I have successfully Tinder'd in the US, Turkey, and Japan and actually I've met some pretty cool girls. . . I'm just out of a 3 year serious relationship and I'm very happy/confident about where I stand in my life right now, so I think not coming off as desperate and just communicating without "trying to get laid" have been solid factors, but it's been a fun experience and its a great time killer.

I'm very selective so my "like return" isn't that high, but I tend to get like 1/70 or so to swipe back and I tend to swipe while I'm on the can, so 2 dumps a day and I have plenty of ammo

I use Tinder and Bumble. . . Just started Bumble the other day. And to anyone who says they do it the "old fashioned way," so do I! I just like using all the tools at my disposal.

I actually ended up getting with one girl who didn't like me on Tinder, but recognized me from my profile and came up and talked to me at the gym and we hit it off after that, so I'm definitely a believer.

So I just got on Bumble 2 days ago. 2 matches so far but neither has actually started the chat (for those not in the know, girls have to initiate the messaging on Bumble).

The girls seem to be notably more attractive continuously on Bumble, and there are less teachers/au pair in my age range as well. . . I'm not knocking these positions, in my general area that's just 90% of the Tinder pool aged 26-34. There seem to be a lot more lawyers/finance/young professionals so I think I am definitely preferential to Bumble at this early stage.

Yeah, mine was 22-28 and they are definitely 60% au pair, 35% mothers, and 5% desirable. Okay that was a stretch, but you know what I mean.

But yeah, Bumble stock shits on just about all others. It also seems to be (no r@c!$t) mostly white chicks on there, which I like. However, the likelihood of me getting swiped on is slim because of it, so I haven't come across many matches on there. Actually deleted the app, and that's with me swiping right 100% of the time because the stock is so highly improved LOL.

Never had any luck with online dating... I had an LDR when I was younger, but it didn't pan out after; never met anybody offline despite many attempts, including that lady I just mentioned. Everybody I've met/been with/slept with were people I found in person or at the very least, introduced by someone, including my current girlfriend.
