Ok as much as I worry about Disney mechanically overwriting the Star Wars lore to push their own products and toys in place of the old ones and brainwashing half the planet's kids into becoming obsessive toy buying robots...that shot of Vader walking in was pure yummy.

My oldest son wants me to go with him Thursday night midnight. I'm afraid there will not be any seats, and I ain't sitting with some SW freak texting and recording the movie!!!

Here in the states, they take recording movies VERY seriously and place employees disguised as customers (with concessions in hand) in the theater for blockbuster releases like this. That is why most torrents of big films are 99.9% always from overseas or Mexico.

They still have theaters that aren't assigned seats? I don't have to listen to snackbar ads any longer.

My brother and me have seen the first showing on the first day since we were little kids. (Thursday night doesn't count.) No matter where we have been in the world, we have always met in our home town and seen the movie!! We have tickets for the 9:00 AM show in IMAX on Friday!! BOOM!!

Going to a Pre-Release screening tomorrow night at the El Capitan in Hollywood! I was on the waiting list all week, but I just got the go-ahead today!

So I got invited by Disney to attend a industry insider pre-release screening of Rogue One tonight at the El Capitan... BUT I just found out Jimmy Kimmel is having a block party with Metallica and I am willing to be it's going to be CHAOS. For those of you who don't know, the El Capitan is where Disney does most of their premiers because it's a historic building right across from Hollywood and Highland. It's also right next door to Jimmy Kimmel's studio. I'm not entirely sure how this is going to work out.
