They need a diesel Range Rover, I have had several double R's and loved them.
My GL320 CDI got almost 27 MPG on a trip to Laguna last week.

but you have a 65k plus car and when you have that kind of cash for a car you should never have to worry about money for gas or you would have bought something cheaper and more efficent.

I think when it hits $12 I can just start putting Jack Daniels in the tank.

We burn coal to make hydrogen (<--takes a lot of electricity to make too). So, this and ethanol (400lbs of corn to make 25 gal of ethanol) is not the answer.

Oh well...

I think you're going to see people use public transportation a lot more before, buying mopeds/bikes, riding bicycles like they do europe, walking more, less vacation travel with vehicles.

We complain about prices here, but they've been much worse in europe, which is the reason they tend to avoid driving for no reason.

I'm not about to spend my time googling electric powered vehicles, but they seem to be the next best alternative to me. Plug into the wall, charge up, and go.

It's not about how much it cost to fill a tank, it's about the size of the tank and how far you can drive on that tank fill

im one of the few who wont mind gas prices going up. i take the T to work and hate traffic and SUV's. so now when i drive there will be less traffic and SUV's on the road, and i will gladly pay the extra money for that privelidge which isn't even a big deal since i don't drive that much besides weekends.

hopefully people who cant afford to own a huge car and drive it constantly will finally stay the fvck off the road or buy a prius, one of hte most easily burnable cars on the road.

hell i hope it goes up to 10 bills a gallon. stay home people! the road is MINE.
