All the Lexus cars / suvs are rebadged Toyotas. Their powertrains are over 15yrs old and the tech inside is even worse!
They are lucky that cheap lease deals on RX/ NX/ES are driving sales. IS, GS, RC, LS sales are pitiful |

I already showed you that LS sales aren't that far behind 7er sales and the last model was weak, the new one will likely return to being stronger than the 7er, much like it has been for its life. |

Since BMW outsold Lexus by 553 sales in 2017, it's probably worth looking at the breakdown, but bear in mind that the X1 is considered a car and sold nearly 31k in 2017.
BMW cars - 202,201 BMW trucks - 103,484 BMW ttl - 305,685 Lexus cars - 104,290 Lexus trucks - 200,842 Lexus ttl - 305,132 |

You do realize the following: RX = Highlander NX = RAV4 LX = Land Cruiser GX = Prado ES = Avalon / Camry IS / GS = Crown Cheapest X5 is more expensive than top of the line RX. The transaction prices of Lexus sales are much lower than BMW so those numbers don't mean anything. |

BMW owns Mini and bought them out. BMW makes all the decisions! Toyota controls Lexus 100%. Thats why Lexus has no sports cars, convertibles, new powerful engines, nothing to compete with M or AMG. Audi has pretty much replaced Lexus as the 3rd true mainstream luxury brand. |

Rebadged Toyotas! Pleasepleaseplease tell me where to get the Toyota version of the LC.
I'm probably right smack in the heart of the demographic for this car. I'm looking for something luxurious, comfortable, and accommodating for long distance touring for two people and their stuff. But it still has to scratch my car geek itch. A true GT in other words. The LC appears to come close in some regards, but misses in others. It has the lines! But I hate that grille and those wheels. The back seat is useless for anything larger than a small dog, so why not let it fold down and provide some more storage space? And so on. Major kudos to C&D for an excellent review process. |

#NumbersDontLie (Oh, and by the way: A1 = VW Polo, A3 = Golf, A4 = Passat/CC, Q7 = Touareg/Porsche Cayenne. Everybody's doin' what Lexus does because, you know, it works if done right.)

I was shocked when i saw the size of the trunk. The LC and new LS share the platform, not sure what JDM Toyotas will use this platform as well. I think the new Crown uses a different one. |

I have been up close and personal with a few. Honestly, there are not many cars short of Exotics with as much "road presence and curbside appeal" IMO. Definitely eyeballing one at some point. The rock solid brand build quality is just icing on the cake.

For what it was built for, it checks off ALL of the boxes. Also known as the "Japanese Aston Martin". |

I personally had the privilege to ride in a Lexus LFA one time, and holy cow everything else is just a copy cat lol!
Car so powerful the man (chief of R&D) who invented and designed it was killed in a wreck. Seen one of the above mentioned Lexus, and first thing I thought was "moot" on to the next one..... |

I saw a yellow LC at a local cars and coffee a month or two back and it did absolutely nothing for me. It definitely didn't look like an exotic, actually looked kind of cheap like a Kia or something. Not impressed at all.

Well looks are subjective I guess but if you think LC is sexier or has better road presence than the F-type I'm afraid you're in the minority. I own the F-type and test drove the LC and it's not even comparable. One thing that I give the LC better mark is its interior. It's sublime.

I totally agree. Seeing it in the Lexus showroom didn't do anything for me. It did less after I test drove it.
