Hotel is unknown, seems to be a ton of options within 30mins drive, closer to the track it seems its all mom/pops places.

Still planning that...

On the fence on if I( plus buddy) will drive up or fly into NYC/overnight close to the track location (Tickets round trip are $107usd from DC), or get a rental and drive up as both are within similar cost including gas and rental.

The big question is how one is gonna feel post dinner/track to do the 5hr drive back.

Also to anyone, how long is dinner? Would that start before 1745 and be like an hour or so long or dinner is done and GTFO at 1745 on the dot?

If you’ve never been to MMC this is a great opportunity to go to a beautiful facility. Summer up in Monticello is gorgeous. Not to mention how exclusive that track is. Hands down worth 250 or 750. I have been going since it opened in 2008. They add more and more every year. And oh yeah, and there is a huge new casino in Monticello!

I had a blast last year but I'm disappointed that they're not at the Ridge until late October this year. Good chance it'll be raining around that time.

COTA required a helmet last year. BMW didn't allow closed face options so those that showed up with a helmet ended up in a head sock after all.

I've done the 2 Day M School at Thermal and it was great!!!

I wanna do this with some buddies, and I think it's shared cars right?

At Thermal, do we get to go on the big track like on day 2 of M School, or is it just the BMW side?

Thought about it and 5 hrs is too long to drive for a half days fun
and $750 for a whole day .. buys a whole lotta real tracktime at the local
you practically gotta live pretty near these joints

M Track Days 2018

Looks like sign-ups for M Track Days 2018 is back!

https://mtrackdays.bmwusa.com/

Biggest difference this time is while they're once again offering the half-day event for $250, they have a full-day event for $750 this time around.

Full-Day: The premiere M Track Days package, which includes all half-day activities as well as driftpad sessions with the all-new M5 and one-on-ones with motorsport legend Bill Auberlen. It’s almost 8 hours of time behind the wheel, which means 8 hours throttling the RPMs of the most powerful BMWs in production, all for $750.

Half-Day: For $250, test the limits of the M vehicles with over 4 hours of activities on the course, including a drag race, timed autocross, lead-follow laps, a classroom session with BMW Professional Driving Instructors, and hot laps.

Florida June 12 - 16, Homestead Speedway
Austin July 28 - August 3, Circuit of Americas
New York August 16 - 23, Monticello Motor Club
Washington October 17 - 21, Ridge Motorsports Park
California October 31 - November 4, The Thermal Club

I had an absolute blast last year and for $250 and felt it was definitely worth the money to beat up and burn the tires on some new BMW's.

Signed up or half-day in Thermal on Nov 2. I'm going to be in Thermal this Tuesday for my 1 free day from BMW.

If they stay on the bmw side (not main track) maybe hit 90 mph...but if they let us go to the main track could be 130mph ish.

Also I'm thinking full day has a better shot of going on the main track. Pretty sure half days will be bmw side only.

I hit 140ish in the M3 and M4 on the back straight. About 90 is about right on the BMW side.
