135i is fugly, G37S hands down. Somebody said they ruined it from the G35, I thought the G35 drove like a complete pig and didn't have any good feel to it. At least the G37 has more power and pulls nice, steering is a lot better than it was and more gadgets.

I get my 135i vert the first week of August (I wanted to pick up at BMW Welt, but they were booked solid, so I am just getting it at the local dealership)

Wow, I never noticed the similarities between the E82 and E46. I can definitely see design cues, but the E82 looks like it got sqaushed between two large walls which threw off all of the crisp lines of the E46. It looks to me as though BMW purposefully made the car look cheap(er than the rest of their line). I really want to drive a 1 series and see how it stacks up to the E30 as far as a 'back to basics' small car.

looks-wise : G35 > G37 > 135i

performance: 135i > G37 > G35

but my pick is 335i coupe ( sedan is almost as butt ugly as the 1 series.. almost, but not quite

why would anyone think 135i and G37 are direct competitor? G37 is competing against 335i..

I obviously chose the 1.

I'm not sure why people bash it's looks. IMO, it's the way BMW should have gone with the E92... They sort of tried to make it into a psuedo 6 series, which it can't hold a candle to, rather than going with an evolution of the classic 3 series styling.

I think the only cars BMW makes that are better styled than the 1 are the Z4C and the 6. The other models lack character by comparison, IMO. Too easy to mistake for something other than a BMW.

135i all day long, there's no comparison when you drive them both. IMO lines on the G37 don't flow at all

You must be smoking some serious crack. The G37 can barely run 13.8 in the 1/4 mile.
Do you have any other evidence to support your rather retarded claim?

Same here. I looked at an Alpine/Coral, no frilly stuff. $39,460....which is good. Then I walked around it about ten times. Great car but my eyes just will not accept the skirt lines.
