So I went to the dealership the other day with my friend so he could order a S1000RR... it made me really want to get one now as well. To sum things up, I am considering selling my car, and get a new Cooper S and S1000RR to replace it. Both of them new will come to about what I paid for my car originally... what do you guys think? Will I regret it? The Bimmer is great here in Germany, but I am moving to San Antonio where I will have way more riding time per year on a bike... Pros and cons?

Definitely do it. The Cooper S, as girly as it is, is one of the funnest cars I've driven. As long as you got a grocery-getter / people-hauler, you're fine.

I just got brand-new tires on my Daytona:

There's nothing Girly about the S. Just get a masculine color and all the aggressive-looking options. My Cooper S is sooo masculine. Lol

The one I am looking at on the lot is Chili Red... I haven't test drove it yet, but might tomorrow. Would prefer Lightning Blue or Eclipse Gray, so we'll see what happens. Have to sell mine first regardless.

To me, he had just a few more turns before he was going down for sure.

The state riding course is good, experience is good, track days are good too.
How does one learn without actually riding?

I was out at Infineon (Sears Point Raceway) today for the AMA races, SOOO many very cool bikes.

I especially liked the KTM RC8. Never seen one in person, VERY cool.

A driver in a car/truck/suv. Your "cage" is your car/truck/suv, and one who drives a car/truck/suv is a cager. Can be somewhat derogatory to clueless drivers too.....

Current slab thats for sale. If anyone in Tampa area is interesting---$16K, 3K on the clock. About 14,7 without Ohlins. No fancy accessories mods, just gofast&corner well goodies. Mod list is neat and extensive, no disappointments.

That thing is beautiful. I have thought about going after one of these or something that balances performance and rider friendly nature over trying to be a hero with the fastest bike.
