Should be a good final between Italy and England. Seems like no matter which country plays, there are Chelsea players representing.

I wish Mason Mount would get some playing time (or did he?). I didn't watch the match today.

BTW, Mount did play. He actually started and played the full 90 minutes. Was subbed off for Foden shortly into extra time.

The penalty was so soft, and it's classic Sterling to go down like that. With that said, if you sit back and invite pressure like Denmark did in extra time, you are asking for trouble. The final should be fun. I have really enjoyed watching Italy this tournament, and I think they will win.

Lol, I am indeed. You'd think I'd have watched this Euro 2020 match with England and Denmark but I actually forgot it was on yesterday. Okay, I didn't realize Mount played, good deal. Hopefully he played a decent game. He has really come on strong this past season for Chelsea. Oh and by the way, if you take a look here in the Sports forum you'll see that I'm a Chelsea fan, lol.

Well I'm not going to predict who will win the final between England and Italy (my sports predictions failed me recently as you know) but it ought to be a good match. Yeah I noticed the Azzuri have played well lately.

On a side note, I'm also hopeful the USMNT becomes a force. They've got a great group of young players that are playing for high caliber clubs, particularly in Europe.

Not quite. VAR has to show a "clear and obvious" error by the official to get it overturned. This is why many people dislike the verbiage "clear and obvious". ITV even thought it was a dive lol, but it is what it is and England outplayed Denmark from about 40 minutes onward. I believe that if Sterling didn't go down, England would have scored anyway.

I may end up more listening to the game than actually watching it. Morning of yard work/car washing. A sammie and some chips, washed down with milk. Comfortably stretched out on bed to "watch" the game
