The problem with the sprays is that it wont reach the core of the hive back in the rock wall and it only kills the hornets that you actually spray. The rest it just pisses off. I've been spraying the Hell out of the hole in the rock wall where they come out for about 2 weeks and it's had zero impact other than killing the few dozen that happened to be in its path when I sprayed.

He told me the key is to wear white. The bastards will go after you if you wear dark colors. I've got a white hooded tyvec suit that I used when I was crawling around the attic removing itchy rockwool loose fill insulation. Plan is to hit them late evening when they are not active. Blast it in here with a long reach duster and GTFO. https://www.domyown.com/long-shot-puffer-duster-p-11745.html
I'll call 911 right now for you.

Almost 50% of the food we eat relies on pollination by bees.
So all fruit, most vegetables, nuts, vegetable oils...
Half the treespecies dies...

Wasps are also useful. They hunt/eat massive amounts of mosquitos and other insects. So if the hive doesn't bother you (or other people in your surroundings) too much, I'd leave it be.
At the end of fall all the wasps die and wasps don't repopulate old hives.

Thinking of going to the stoop on that upper window and hitting it after dark with the brake cleaner. I have full arm length gloves to clean my reef tank that are super thick. I think I can bock off the window with a little hole for my arm...hit them when they least expect it.

Guess I need to check if my GoPro has night vision

My rule is, if I don't get stung you live... If not you all die.

We got a bee colony under the front steps and they have been there for 10 years with any problems.

Ground Hornets are another story. Got stung multiple time in the back when I went over their entry while cutting grass. Well after the wife patch me up, they all died.

Saw a youtube clip with this dust...wiped them out in an hour to where he was able to go back and remove the nest without and protective equipment.

Saw another where the guy sprayed the dust...and immediately pulled the hive down with the angry hornets swarming. No clue as to why he sprayed if he was just ripping it down right away.

I'd hit them at night with one of these

It's good for about 40 feet or so

Nothing like a water eviction

yep, that's what my exterminator buddy said. Dust them and give it an hour and they are gone. For me there's no nest to remove as it's buried in a rock wall. I'll just dust them and then seal up the hole so future yellow jackets cant use it.

I don't know if I'd use that little 'ol hand-held puffer thingy - feed that bottle of killer dust into the intake of your leaf blower and smoke 'em out.
