Its a shame the blind Max supporters cant see what literally every other fan of the sport sees in terms of the * next to last season's world champ. I mean, the race director was fired over this! Max's "win" was far from fair and square.
Oh come on, in that case HAM should have ****** to his championship wins from '14 in a car with time advanced hybrid PU.

I think the biggest changes are that the decisions from now on are a 2 man decision, and that here is no (direct) communication anymore between race director and race teams.

His decision to let one of the best seasons of all time end with racing over a safety car was the right decision for the fans and for the sport even if there's a ton of gray area about what happened. Not easy to make a time sensitive decision when Toto and Horner are annoying you the entire time.

Two racers that are tied neck and neck with one in a much faster car on old hard tires and one in a slower car on fresh softs. One lap between two elite drivers and Max proved that he's the superior racer. Couldn't have scripted it better. Even after Max overtook him, the difference between how much faster the MB was over the RB was so ridiculously obvious.

I've got a feeling that we're going to end up with slightly more raceable cars and the restructuring will promote less racing.
Mate . You nailed it completely !

Hmm, I suspect the powers that be believe it will add more drama for the Netflix docu soap that is 'Drive to survive'...just imagine the behind the scenes drama of the two race directors battling it out over WDC making decisions. It'll be great.

This whole thing is such a joke from FIA and F1.

SO unprofessional, bunch of school kids.

By sacking Masi - they are basically saying - yep we effd up, but we are still right.

I am not against Verstappen, though I dislike his eff All attitude, nevertheless, he has amazing driving abilities. He should have clinched the title already many races before the last one. But in this type of situation he is just a fake joke champion.

I wish he would have won the Jedahh, then this stupid situation would never happen. But instead he brake checked the other driver.

I sure hope not - the F1-75 is far and wide the most beautiful car on the track and F1 does not feel right to me unless Ferrari is competing for the championship.

Stooooppp.

Complete non-sense - Lewis was ALL OVER him in the straights and even attempted to get in position to overtake. Max is the only nutjob that would go aggressive enough to overtake in 5 and he's the only one good enough to accomplish it and defend against a faster car. Max's late braking > Lewis slip stream.

Throughout the entire season NO one but Max and Checo could defend against Lewis for as long as they could.

………very much disagree here. Lando and Alonso had moments over the season of holding up Lewis for long stretches of time that most definitely helped Max*. I think there is plenty of talent on the grid that could’ve/would’ve pulled that move off in the same situation. Brand new softs with nothing to lose, you either make the pass and are the WDC or you don’t and you are still second. Not much decision making there. The straight line speed didn’t matter as all Lewis could do was draw along side of him and not overtake due to the slip stream. Besides, due to TIRES, Lewis had to brake way earlier than Max* and there wasn’t much to defend. Lewis had zero chance of regaining that position short of a mechanical issue with the Red Bull or a big mistake.

I’d say I more don’t mind him. I’d much rather see Ferrari or Mclaren step up and hassle RB and MB a lot more. There are rumors of Alpha Tauri really stepping up this year. That would be cool but I think we are all very skeptical of that actually happening.
