I grew up there but it's changed a lot. Let me talk to my friends and see what they say. Off hand, Baton Rouge just doesn't have the restaurants like NOLA does.

I greatly appreciate it but if you aren’t familiar with the eateries in that area don’t take up your time to find out. I’ll just Yelp “Cajun” and see what comes up along the highway through the city. It won’t dampen my trip if any of the places I eat along the way are just so-so, though I’m confident I’ll enjoy them all. I’m mainly looking forward to the drive and seeing places outside of AZ
