I don't know how things work in Florida with death penalty sentences. But I don't recall any death penalty sentences being carried out with any semblance of speed. Most always, death penalty cases that I've seen are appealed and drag on for years. There are many gates present that can help mitigate any incorrect verdicts. And ultimately, the governor can always issue a pardon.

Yeah, I think you are right. Let them live in NYShitty where you can rape, pillage, and murder as you desire. I love Florida because the legal system doesn't let people get away with heinous crimes.

It's not about what any of what we all think. You're so red misted that you didn't read what I said. I said since the death penalty wasn't the sentence, the next best thing would be life in prison without a possibility of parole. I wasn't at all advocating that life in prison was the better sentence or that I preferred that.

There's nothing any of us can do about this sentencing. That's the legal system in Florida.
Wasn't directing anything at you brother. I just hope people are correct and he gets clipped asap!!!

Being housed in General Public in prison will be worse than the death penalty.

This is kinda what I was saying so I'm not sure what you are getting at here. While on the surface & by verbiage what you say is true. However, that is not always the case with the justice system. There are hundreds or thousands of cases where the person being tried is found guilty when the evidence doesn't even support that outcome. IF someone is "found guilty" and sentenced to death or life in prison, there are times they are later found to be NOT guilty once new evidence has been found or the real suspect gets caught.

We already have levels of guilt...it is what it is. The easiest example is speeding. While all of it, if caught, is a crime there are varying levels of guilt according to the infraction. Same crime...different levels.

Absolutely not, this is one of the more ridiculous things I think I've ever read.

Why should they have their identities exposed? So they can be harassed by people in the general public that didn't like the verdict?

Yeah I am not ok with that either. The people that CHOSE to expose their identities, thats on them. But as crappy as people are now a days, those that were involuntarily exposed...their safety would be in jeopordy

^^ Agree with you guys. They should not be exposed unless they want to be.
