Whitetail? I was there the other day trying to teach my young cousins. It's the first time I've ridden east coast in about 5 years. And I live here.

I was in Salt Lake a view years back. Most of my riding is in Colorado or Canada now though. If I picked where I rode though, I'd most likely hit Salt Lake again. I like being able to stay IN Salt Lake CITY, and have the option of driving to 6 or 7 mountains, depending on what kind of riding I'm (the group) are in the mood for.
I love the views from the City!! Here's a shot atop Snowbird..

here are some pics from my "ski waxing" party I had friday night before we went out, like 6 friends came over and all brought their skis. Most of them were so old and beat up it took me like 3 hours to get everyone good to go, lol. Also no one had any clue how to do their own so it was pretty much all on my friend Jon and I. The night ended with a pretty intense beruit tourney... "Just like College" haha All in all it was an ok weekend, lame skiing though...

Skiing is easier to get the basics down - most beginners have difficulty with the physics of not facing the direction you're going in snowboarding. But I think both are just as challenging at their limits.
Oh, and I'm a boarder... or ex-boarder. Gave up my skis at the age of 9 and rode boards for the next 13 years.

i think i fucked up my neck...
my last run on Saturday, i'm flying down and see this retard on the skis trying to keep the balance, waiving his hands and polls in the air. As i try to avoid his stupid ass and go around him, he cuts me off and still waiving his hands in the air he GRABS ME BY MY JACKET as i pass him!!!!! I am pretty sure it was not intentional, but i ate it soooo damn hard! Fell flat on my face, did a flip on my head and fell flat on my back. I'm glad a wore a helmet!! By the time i got up that motherfucker was gone, and i tell you, it was a good thing, because it he was still there, his ski's, his polls and his ski boots would be so deep up his ass, he would need surgery to remove them. EDIT: On the other hand my neck must not be that bad, since im sitting here and planning to go snowboarding on Saturday. lol
