Awesome! Thank you much appreciated.

Now another dumb question, but after you apply these and scrub the leather with the brush (lightly), what do you use to rinse it off? Or just a dry towel?

You can get Colourlock on Amazon and other local retailers, no need to order direct from manufacturer.

Nope. You wipe off any residue after cleaning with a damp cloth.

This. Or use - also for any interim cleaning - wet wipes for baby care. They are gentle to your leather also and have a mild lipid-replenishing effect, not forming an annoying film.

Agreed! I actually noticed a black stain on the silverstone leather a few days after taking deliver and was able to remove it with a wet wipe.

So I applied the leather shield today. It was surprisingly easy. Maybe too easy. The instructions clearly stated to apply "sparingly" so I sprinkled a bit of the light milky fluid onto the provided cloth and rubbed it onto the seats in a circular motion. The seats never felt very damp.

I hope I applied enough!

that's it! just remember to do a quick clean & re-apply every 3-6 months depending on use.

More use & more abrasive fabrics (denim, canvas, etc) will up the refresh time

Why does BMW's kit say it's not for full grain leather? Wouldn't Merino fall into this category?

Yeah it would, makes no sense to me. I have been using it on my X5M with black Merino, works well. I think it might darken lighter colors.
