Please check official statement of BMW for M5 CS and M8 Competition Coupe
M5 CS F90 0-100 3.0s 0-200 10.4s 100-200 7.4s M8 Competition Coupe F92 0-100 3.2s 0-200 10.6s 100-200 7.4s M5 G90 0-100 3.5s 0-200 10.9s 100-200 7.4s I suppose that G90 will be similar fast as M5 CS and M8 from rolling from 100km/h. Don't forget that first version of M5 F90 600ps were similar fast as Competition version of M5. After announced M5 Competition that normal version M5 F90 600ps was slower. This time they will do the same thing.

The excessive weight gain cancels out any benefits other than emissions. Those who are a little disappointed aren't looking for a very large, very heavy, yet comfortable luxury car, if so, they'd opt for an i7 or Panamera (or CPO Rolls 😂. Moving to a hybrid platform, the expectation of weight gain (an possibly a slight loss of some raw driving dynamics) are expected vs ICE cars, but you usually get something back in exchange to make the gain worth the penalty, however, the G90 was shoe-horned into the XM platform making it a tank. Porsche did a stellar job with the GTS t- hybrid with only a 100lb weight penalty and the C8 Corvette e-Ray did it (only 300lb heavier than the Z06) with better straight-line performance than the C8 Z06.(I know not apples to apples but you get the point), https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=31303768 Edited++ on a call! haha

Straight line speed is overrated for me. I’ll probably go for a low mile E39 M5 at some point. I’m not hating on it (other than the weight), just not for me. |

The way it accelerates is certainly smooth and tremendous, it is big, heavy, great chassis but current cars are highway cars yes or yes, maybe too heavy for non-carboceramic brakes

It’s basically a G60 with body colored side skirts and a little different rear….lets just be honest.

That made a pretty substantial difference on the m3 vs 340. That’s a pretty noticeable difference to my eyes, maybe it’s just me |

For sure no comp coming? Matt Watson and everybody said this is it as well. Verdict is still out on CS. But curious where everybody get this data.

But that’s okay some folks like straight line speed some like handling more and some want both. I am not expecting the g90 to be like a 911 but I suspect the g90 cs if there ever was one to make what the stock car should be |

No one should care about the 0-60. However, I would expect its 5-60 to be significantly improved over the F90 due to the hybrid setup, which is much more relevant for real-world use.
