It’s crazy how many compliments my car gets in person, people taking pictures, thumbs up from other drivers etc. I’ve had a lot of nice cars and this cars gets more positive public reaction than anything else I’ve owned.

The car is 100% better in person than pictures but I’m not sure what’s driving all the love for it. Maybe the performance and the big Youtube/Insta following these cars have? I’m not sure…

The oversized kidney grills is something I’ve learned to appreciate over time but initially I absolutely despised them

I believe the final month of G80 production is around 6/2026. Could be as late as 10/2026 but that would be the absolute latest.

G80 production began around 12/2020. If it ends 6/2026, that’s 67 months. If it ends 10/2026, that’s 71 months.

Definitely the longest run of any M3 ever built.

My mom on the other hand never thought I was cool, so I never learned to spare people's feelings and tell them their car is ugly when it's ugly, lol. The base 3 series front end looks better.

First off I’m sorry to hear about your relationship with your Mom, but you know, you’re right. The compliments I get nearly every day are also from people just “being nice” who have great relationships with their mom’s. Lots of people in this world just “being nice” and haven’t grown to like the grill I guess. Wonder why they weren’t “being nice” with my previous BMW’s? 🤔
