yep - have had it in both lungs 10 years apart. Took my daughter to the pediatrician for strep a few weeks ago and her doctor said that they're seeing super high rates of pneumonia and upper lobe pneumothoraxes in children this year. the same daughter when she was an infant scraped my wifes eye with her nail which put her down for weeks.

I snapped my left tibia and fibula in half landing wrong on a 12ft vert when BMX riding. Then a few years later, my right ankle/leg were ran over by a forklift when I was working at 7-up, resulting in a crushed ankle.
Both pale in comparison to the first headache of my life which happened after my first IED blast in Afghanistan. I wanted to cut my head off, lol.

Wow, you guys are warriors. I once had the urge to be a rider but quickly came to my senses haha. No hockey either after seeing all those insurance claims from my mom's work (broken shoulder, arm, leg, etc), no tx!
I feel lucky (knock wood)/like a wuss cuz the worst I can think of was food poisoning, so Imma check myself out now lol. |

Sounds benign I'm sure, but I had a bicycle wreck once that was off the charts (for me). I was peddling as fast as I could to the park where there was a girl waiting to see me, I think I was 12. Anyway, chain snapped and I was peddling so hard that I went over the bars and face first into the concrete. It was the middle of summer, and I was sweating profusely, so I was a full-on strawberry bloody at every joint, chin, forehead, cheeks, all of it. I raced home and laid there for a few days in delirious pain without sleep, and I don't remember even taking an aspirin. For sure I should have gone to the hospital, but kids will be kids.

Reading everybody's posts, my dental nightmare was clearly a lightweight experience. I've been lucky to avoid really bad pain.
