So you’ve experienced it for like 10 days spread out over a long period of time. Its your opinion but of course you aren’t going to be able to get used to it in that small amount of time. It overwhelmed me at first, too…..but I’ve gotten used to it and it’s way better than ID7. That being said, I know people complained about some stuff in ID8 that they fixed in 8.5 (meaning a lot of the intuitive stuff that wasn’t so intuitive in 8).

Getting used to something, is completely different than liking it. You can get used to it and accept it while still disliking it. That is the case here. I've had loaners for weeks at a time and rentals for different situations. No point getting into that. Point being, I've had countless different iD8 vehicles to test thoroughly, and it still looks like a 2012 xbox, running on an ipad, bolted over top what should've been the dash of a car. Just to change temperature, i have to finesse a touch screen, and take attention off the road, instead of simply reaching and feeling for buttons or knobs. Everything that used to be simple is now a chore. Every time i get into the car, it resets bluetooth and I have to re-pair my device. Seat heaters, navigation, etc, reset every time i get out, such as a gas station. Then i have to reset everything again. Its incredibly annoying and problematic. I like some things such as having more color options for ambient lighting, but the downsides FAR outweigh any benefit over iD7.
