The car looks impressive in both exterior and spec department. I particularly love the large intake holes on the front bumper. Impressive.
Anyway, I dont understand Audi's. This engine should have been in the S4 as well (pointed out in audizine) instead of the SC V6.This engine almost matches the specs on the supercharged V6. Oh well......I hope TT-RS is really quick |

I don't think the S4's engine was even an option given the degree of it's vee, the only vee engines that fit under the hood of the TT are the VR range with it's very narrow vee. It's a shame this engine wouldn't fit because it's a cracker engine based on the results the S4 has produced, like 11.5s to 100mph for something weighing over 1720kgs is totally remarkable. But then again this 5cyl already produces more power and torque and weighs a lot less so you may be able to knock a second off that time (maybe more). I notice from the data supplied by hkz786 that the TT-RS has beefy brakes so Audi have provided it with decent stopping power and maybe they are intending it to take to the track and do more trackdays than is normal for Audi cars. I wonder how this car will compare to the likes of the Z4M (current one) and more importantly the new Cayman S. |

I've gotta say, the rear looks better than the front on these two...and for the first time in my life...at least from the angle given in these pics...the rear looks better on the vert than the coupe (!). So...this mod...enlighten me, lol.

Actually, if this mod includes the use of black paint, lemme say that I think I probably wouldn't black anything out on these bumpers (but I would get that roof). I kinda like the silver here. It's sorta becoming an audi S/RS trademark-ish thing.

I have to agree man. I'd say you would have the lower front bumper painted black or body-coloured.

haha its funny how you knew I would say that...I agree to an extent. I think the rear bumper looks good and the spoiler with hints of silver. I would make the front bumper body coloured though.

Also on the Roadster the rear spoiler looks very 'aftermarket' to me, especially when the roof is down. Apart from that I really like the overall design, subtle on everything from all angles apart from looking head on where it looks very aggressive or better still, looking from a rear view mirror. See this coming and you will know to get out of the way. |

hmm...after looking at it again I think I'd agree with you two (hks and footie). the silver does look like a bit much.

such a pointless car. who in their right mind would buy this?
TT 3.2 quattro, most sticker around 48k-50k. TTS 2.0L quattro, most sticker around 62k-65k. TTRS 2.5L quattro, stickering for 72k-75k? hahah you gotta be a sucker to buy it. shoot, prices are even higher for the roadster. lol |

Anyway, I think I figured out the answer. I think the supercharged V6 is way easier to maintain then turbo inline 5 put in the TT-RS. I mean that SC V6 will be used in the A6, Q7, Q5 and so on (Probably A8 too). It's just a opinion....
