if his parents can afford to buy him a 335i whats wrong with that. why not give him the benefit of the doubt that hes a responsible guy, although most young kids given expensive fast cars are not. but at the same time i would not go around "bragging" that your parents payed for it haha

but to answer your question im a student studying economics hoping to go into finance ( if such jobs exist in a few years haha )

The fact that he's in college, I think, has a big impact on the posters here. IF he was in fact 40 or so, none of you would be this hostile towards him. He just asked a general question and you guys are all over him.

Also, just because he's a college student doesn't mean he doesn't deserve a nice car. What if he helps the childrens hospital? Saved some man from a burning building? Maybe he did something to deserve his car? I'm pretty sure with the income level of his parents they know the value of the car, and they probably thought there was a good reason for buying him an expensive vehicle.

My occupation as of now is a part time bank teller, mostly because I've been busy with school. I'm also studying finance and going for a Business Admin degree.

A parent that buys an 18 year old a car with >300hp is irresponsible. Plain and simple.

+1 slowpoke...and im sure that all of you who disagree with college students driving nice cars on this forum would tell your parents not to get them a 335 if they were in the same situation...right

I don't think that's the case. If the driver is a wreckless driver, he's going to wreck whether it be a 500 hp car or a 140 hp car. Most of the e90 drivers here whom are under 21, I believe, are pretty responsible drivers and also from a lot of the bimmer drivers I can see that.

Give me a break. When I go to flying school, I see they start me out with a single engine propeller plane and not the T-39 Saberliner. I wonder why? Learning the true world of high speed physics takes more than a couple years of "hey look at me, I'm responsible, I haven't wrecked yet..."

I hope you will *never* have anything to do with my finances. You are studying economics and finance and you cant even spell "paid". Not once but twice. Education FAIL

Spelling has EVERYTHING to do with EVERYTHING. Your spelling ability is a direct reflection of your level of education. Simple as that.

I don't give a flying fuck if you are Bernie Madoff himself, but if you can't even spell on a *basic* level, I wont let you smell my money.
