True. But their both race games? Its basically a car going from point A to point B. Depending on what car you get is how fast you will get to your destination. I have played Forza 2, and it was legit. It took a while to understand the concept of everything and all the car settings etc.. it was fun. I know for a fact both games are no where close to anything like Need 4 Speed which is very good!

Again , I know the GT5 has not been out and I kno "GT," has a bigger and more popular name compared to Forza BUT what are some key factors that make each other better? Have any of you heard any new crazy updates on the GT5 that you cant wait for? Does GT5 have more car selections or settings to chose from..

You can can base your answer on the GT4 or which ever previous GT came out and compare it to Forza.

Which is better overall. The reason I ask all these details is for 2 reasons.

1. I plan on buying and building my race setup for my room for which ever game I buy (Race seat, gear shifter, steering wheel, and everything that connects together. Its going to be expensive -__-)

2. Each game is 59.99$ so I dont plan on dropping to 120.00$ for best of both worlds

You have to ask yourself is there really any competition between the two and the answer is no. Already just by viewing the trailers GT5 is in a class of its own and will be upon release. In actual fact I feel GT5 looks superior to Forza 3 and as we know it has double the amount of cars. Lets also not forget GT5 will also have tracks such as top gear test track and also favorites such as Monaco which Forza 3 cannot boast.

In my honest opinion, after playing Forza 3 I noticed that it didn't really have the simulator feel that the GT series has.

GT5 will pretty much shit on Forza 3 when it comes out. I tried to new physics in the time trial demo and it's insane. Feels like driving a real car. Graphics are way better in GT5 than forza. If you're gonna spend that much then just wait for GT5. Although it has its flaws as well (sounds suck, no porches, etc) over its just a better game.

Besides the Forza > GT, its a nice setup for BOTH games...

just watch out the Sato seat...when you "accidently" spill your drinks and stain on the white seat....

I am a HUGE Gran Turismo fan. Almost as big of a GT fan, as I am an F1 fan. Been playing GT since the first game came out. Bought them all when they came out. Even went as far as to purchase the japanese import versions of the game, prior to the US release.

DONE ... no more ...

The fact that Polyphony Digital can NOT get this game to market is terrible. I read an article recently that said that the developer of the Forza series has released 2 games in the time the Xbox 360 has been out. Is this true? If so, FUCK YOU POLYPHONY DIGITAL EVEN MORE!!!!

The last GT game was released in 2004. 6 years ago. This is ridiculous. The PS3 came out at the END OF '06. Absolutely stupid decision on Sony's part to not have one of their flagship titles available for this console sooner.

I have decided that GT5 is DEAD to me. I don't fucking care when it comes out. They have been screwing the customers around so much with the lack of releasing a game for too long. I have thrown my hat over into the iRacing ring. I'll be racing over there instead with the likes of REAL racers who know about racecraft.

Fuck you Sony, fuck you Polyphony Digital. Maybe you guys should team up with the team from Duke Nukem Forever.

Oh and by the way, does anyone think things like GT for PSP, and stuff like THIS has contributed to the delay? How about getting the game to market FIRST, then go and start creating track day peripherals.

Forza 3 is the best racing game I've ever played.
GT5 is the best racing game nobody has ever played. Pretty much end of discussion. It's been suspended indefinitely. That means do not expect it in 2010 and possibly not in 2011.

If someone wants a racing game, there's not even an option right now. Like I said, Forza 4 will probably be out by the time GT5 comes around & you can try to compare them in 2012.

Forza 3 has 2.5 gigs of cars/tracks, and if you want more you can download them online, so don't give me crap about "twice" as many cars when you can't even get a Porsche. I can drive anything from a Bugatti Veyron to a Porsche Cayenne to a 1974 Buick Regal.

Your ONLY option in the next two years is Forza, and it's a great game. My E30 on the game looks exactly like my real one, and I can race it against supercars. For that I give it a

Dude GT5 prologue alone made as much money as Forza 2. They don't really care about releasing early. They wanna release it at the right time to boost sales of the PS3. I hate what they're doing too but you can't really do anything about it. I stopped carring about this game too. They lagged it so much I'm not even as interested any more.

As for Forza vs GT. Think of it this way. Forza is like an Audi and GT is like a BMW. They're both great cars but I'd rather drive the BMW
