You know when it first came out I was like, "Damn that's a nice car."
I've seen a couple in person and I've never really been blown away. Of course the right color combo makes all the difference. E92's are one of the sexiest cars on the road, but that's me.

I don't know, I love my e92 and all, but I think the S5 takes it on looks (also not nearly as common around here, which helps the subjective 'wow' factor)

It's a complete non bias opinion, at least that's what I think. The e92 is nice don't get me wrong(I own one) but the S5's lines are sharper and more dramatic. They catch your eye, while the e92's...are duller then the competition and not as lively.

It's eye catching to me. I do think Audi has finally found their mojo. Now if they could only work on the reliability. I am pretty sure that the new F32 will be nothing short of amazing, and I beleive it will bring all those that left BMW for the Audi S4, back to BMW.

I agree the Audi is a nicer place to be in than the e9x 3 series.. And I do agree that although the seats are Recaros and look awesome, its just not as comfortable as it looks. It actually puts you in a strange seating position... Maybe i'm too used to my porsche or the simplicity of my Fj.
The car does have good get up.. When I drove it, It was about 100 degrees outside and the torque was definitely there but the engine was not exciting. Exhaust is quiet, the car feels too quiet inside for whats supposed to be a sporty GT car. I felt the steering feedback was numb and could be much much heavier. The cornering I felt was not that great either. My salesperson was pretty cool so I got to do about 15 miles tearing up some corners. You are always reminded that this car is very heavy and FWD Biased AWD car.. Its definitely not as athletic as any 3 series... On the flipside - I don't hate the car I just wouldn't expect the car to take the place of a 335i or a M3 but rather be an extra car for those days you want to take out some guests or head to a club with a couple buddies.. Its no doubt an awesome car but I do prefer the feel of the b7 S4 to the b8..

I would personally go with 335i over S4. But I would choose a S5 over a 335i.

It is the S5, regardless of price. An E92 is more expensive than an E90. Coupes are almost always more expensive than the sedan.
