BMW M Power App for the iPhone

Fun application...I hope the next version (1.2) can utilize the GPS for more accuracy. It is fun but wasn't too accurate for me (BMW has scattered many warnings stating that the numbers are not accurate, and the numbers were close to what similar iPhone apps have given me).

I went around E-Town Raceway Park, found a somewhat flat closed area and did a run. My 9500ix showed 78mph before it registered as hitting 60mph.

I had it calibrated standing up perfectly and then taped it to my CD player. lol

lol one of these dumb buddies i met a few weeks ago told me his v6 is better then my M3 according to this app. I dont think he knows how to use it, or about cars........

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. THIS APP SUCKS.

It only records like 20 seconds and just tries to forward you to bmwusa.com/m information.

Cool idea for an app, but BMW would be better off paying an engineer to redesign the f'n fuel pumps in the N54.
