Those are the GXP photos. Go to this website:

http://www.pontiac.com/solstice/index.jsp

Select GXP under where it says "Go with the flow."

Then click on PhotoGallery/360s

I did print screens and pasted them from the clipboard to Photoshop Elements.

You might have a problem with "A Winter Solstice" as that is close to the name of a series of new age music albums by Windham Hill ("A Winter's Solstice") from the late 80's and early 90's.

That's my 2 cents.

If it is to be marketed in England, you might consider having it substituted for the heel-stone at Stonehenge with the sun rising on the Summer Solstice. Even if it isn't marketed here, Stonehenge is such a universally recognized icon it might still work.

Have the car driving out of the horn of a saxophone.

I was reminded of this thread when I drove past my local dealer a couple of days ago.

They've got a 320d up on ramps with the slogan 3 your mind in large vinyls down the side.

Think less about the car.
Think more about the connection you're trying to make with the audience.

Simplify the message.

Mind. Body. Solstice. = Corny. IMO

My contribution:

Soltice in the right lane.
Passes street sign: Slower Traffic Stay To the Right.

Tag underneath image: Pontiac Soltice. We're just catching our breaths.

How about "everyone has a soul, what does yours tell you?" Does it sound
bad?

Also I think one thing an ad shouldn't have, is to have part of the new car
or the car being small compared to the rest of the objects in the ad.

But what do I know....

Just my 2 cents.

The last few mentioned are good ideas, but I needed resonance for the assignment. Taking a common statement and doing a play on words. The post 3 your mind is a great example for BMW. I know what I came up with for the Solstice were corny, but I only had like a day to some up with something plus he showed mine to everyone the next class as good examples and I was one of only a few to receive full credit on the assignment. Thanks for the help everyone.

How about a picture of the Solstice underneath a giant BMW X5 with big tires? And the ad would read: Pontiac is tired!!!

Ok, ok, so I'm not cut out for advertising... Great ads everyone!
