This is not really the place to have a discussion about the attributes of the company as it is now. The title is also completely misleading as they've never competed with each other (one was always above the other in leading matters since the day a man in Japan had a dream but that is a story for another time).
This kind of thing is probably what you could expect from a fan, honestly. Most just use them on the way up, to get them from A to B without incident, saving their time and understanding for a more expensive and fashionable philosophy (cue the always overzealous hater with the non Z06 Corvette). Honda does not make many good ones but the once they do stick to the company like superglue. I think it is a fabulous company, one which had a soul and a dream. I expect videos like this would help net the next sucker. If many of you dont understand, it is understandable.

Owned all hondas up untill my 335 (5 total)....Actually sold my 05 V6-6pd coupe after I bought my BMW (it had 91000 trouble free miles) ....and still have a H22 swapped 1996 accord sedan (my 16yo son is salivating for it)......Hondas are just good all aroung cars not great at any one thing and that suits most buyers......Honda has just lost a lil of its mojo....they will bounce back and make something to get enthusiasts excited about they always do.....

I actually like Honda's, my friend has a V6 accord, and its actually a very nice car for the money. I think Toyotas are absolute shit and the most boring cars on the market however...

I actually dont like the design direction Honda have taken with their vehicles for the past few years. Simple as that.
I prefered the looks of the old 90's civics and integras and CRXs for example. Look at the new Honda Jazz and civics now. |

Damn man that video is touching... What can I say, Honda makes good reliable cars. They aren't the best performing but hey if you want something that is REALLY reliable and can get you to point a to point b no problem, Honda is a good choice. Reliability, safety and economical. bang for your buck! I still want the 4-Door Honda Civic Type R, but they don't offer it in Canada... |

Coming from a family of Honda's and Acura's I can say they are reliable cars. But the Honda's of today cannot compared to the Honda's of yesteryear. They are way too bland and way too boxy. They are not trying to compete with other competitors but are making cars solely for the economy. I've owned 4 integra's and loved everyone of them until my last one got stolen. The Si needs more "torque" and if a turbo can serve that, they need to step there game up.

i own both brands and let me tell you i love them both for their purpose. The bmw is for fun, that's why i have the manual and rwd coupe. my honda is for point a to b grocery family and friend hauling reliable car. if i feel like a fun summer drive it's bmw. but the point a to point b is what honda is all about and it gets the job done for almost 400k kms.
