Top Gear - US vs UK Versions

As a lover of car I watched all the US Top Gear episodes. However I have to agree that is is just not the same. I like Tanner, the guy of Rescue me is ok although he seems to know nothing about cars but the fat redneck is a pain in the exhaust and need to go. Being British I love the original and hope Top gear US will get better with time.
