I literally did this last night as i was going to sleep with my gf. Idk how i didnt catch a ton of shit from her.

'you should do an hour' *roll over pass out*


All she said was she didnt have time on her lunch break or something. I was expecting a slap.

unless youre going to the gym when there is no one there, this is th worst idea. theres always some nice ass to motivate me at the gym.

at the end of the day, working out is only 10% of the equation...its what u put in your mouth that counts way more...it does no good to work out an extra 15min if you're gonna hit MCD afterwards..try changing diets together

This sadly actually does work. (in a sense) It will either work in his favor (if she cares about her appearance as much as some women do) or he'll be in the dog house.

OP, if you want some legitimate advice here, the more important question is whether or not she's the same weight as when you initially started dating. If she is, well, that's tougher to address as opposed to her gaining weight over the course of your relationship.

Regardless of how you bring it up, chances are she'll be defensive about it. You definitely need to make sure that you act as if you're concerned about her health, not the attractiveness factor. Make sure you do physical activities with her, even if you yourself are in good shape. When you go eat together, eat healthier foods also so she'll be more inclined to do so. If you go to the gym, encourage her to join you.

Making subtle comments or repeatedly pointing it out will likely strain your relationship more than it will help her lose weight.
