i agree with most everything you said, specifically about the people. we've all seen the uprisings that happened following those silly elections they had. there is no doubt the people are suffering, but i just don't think they have the will to fight yet, otherwise the uprisings would have been a revolution by now. where i disagree with you is about the sanctions or diplomatic pressure...that's proved over and over that it won't effect iran, especially with russia and china continuing to be allies with them. sanctions will only work if it's unilateral. the solution to iran isn't an easy one. it's certainly solvable, but i think it will just have to come from within.

It has become blatantly obvious to me over the last 10 years of my my life, the portion that was actual capable of intellectual thought, that no matter what the government says, no matter what it feeds the people.. Additionally, there is a group of people who refuse to believe anything that the government or any news outlet distributes. They simply disregard it and are quick to various assumptions of conspiracy and malice followed by elaborate "This is how it really is" thoughts.

Well they need to keep up this whole "terrorism" scare because that's how they convince us to use taxpayers money for wars. It's also how they can control the world and protect their interests.

I think just as there is a chance this news of an assassination attempt could really be true, there is an equal chance it was staged by America to further isolate Iran from the world.
