The N52-equipped 328i still outsells its competition. The new turbo four is out now anyway which makes just as much power and can already be tuned to 300.

Why doesn't Infiniti and Acura compare themselves to Cadillac? That is the closest brand to them to compete against. The German 3 and Lexus are supreme for a reason. They need to compare themselves to inferior cars to make themselves look better before they take shoots at the alpha male.

Wrong. A fact is a fact. Has nothing to do with the 335. It has to do w/the cars the 328 competes against.
It's an Infiniti commercial. Do you think someone in Infiniti's genius marketing department considered whether a 328 or a 335 or an m3 should be used in their commercials? They just picked a 3 series that they could throw snowballs at and drop snow avalanches on so they can feel like a better car company. So what's next for you Magic? Sold the 335 yet?

Pretty much- or simply take shots at cars that are superior in handling to them, as they are right now

you're an idiot. The 328i competes against the G25, IS250, A4 and C300 which other than a tuned A4, the 328i is faster than all of them. So suck it

CTS-V > any comparable production BMW.

The current E9X M3 is better than the CTS-V coupe (C&D and Motor Trend agree), and the new M5 will be way better than the CTS-V sedan.

Bullshit! CTS-V may cost less, but it's also a "cheaper car". Anyone who really thinks a GM union-built sled is better than any production BMW needs to go buy one and learn from the experience. You can stuff a 'Vette engine in just about anything and go fast, but no "American" manufacturer will ever be able to claim they can out-quality the German car companies. The "Big 3" are doomed by their bean-counters and stockholders, whom they are beholden to way before their customers and the products they produce.

Okay, I feel better now after venting, thanks.
Its funny because both BMW owners and Infiniti owners tend to be douches. Take a look at some of the members on here if you dont believe me.

I will actually be replacing my 335 with a V if I don't get a Z06 instead.

I said comparable BMW as in price. You get more standard options, better handling, more power, etc w/the V vs the BMWs. All for less $ than most of the M cars as well.

If you want to pay more just for a badge b/c you think you have a better car then go for it. This anything GM makes is junk attitude is laughable.

How about those 335 HPFPs huh? How about the paint chipping/peeling on interor panels quite often huh? BMW is not perfect.

Ignorance is bliss. I bet you also have not spent extended time behind the wheel of the V. I have. V > BMW.

A magazine says so so it must be true.

The M3 is a glorified standard 3 series inside. The V eats it alive on the track & gives you more options.

Isn't the M5 going to START over $80k? It should be better.

Apparently ignorance IS bliss, which is why you seem so blissfully ignorant.

As a matter of fact I have spent some time behind the wheel of a "V". And this "anything GM, Ford, or Chrysler makes is junk" is fact. I've been driving for over 40 years, lots more cars than you can imagine and more BMWs than you've likely owned.

I don't pay more for a badge, I pay for what I get, which is lots more than any Cadillac or other GM, Ford, or Chrysler can offer - in my opinion. Some people, obviously like yourself, have much lower standards.

As for recalls - GM, Ford, and Chrysler have had way more than BMW by a factor of 10, including for faulty parts that started fires in vehicles sitting in a driveway. Great union-built quality from the lowest-bidding supplier.

And finally - this thread is about Infiniti commercials, not about your jacked-up opinion of GM and its latest parts-bin marvel.

But C&D and MT are both quality automotive magazines. What makes you say otherwise? This is not my attempt to start an argument. I have heard people question C&D on this forum before, why is that?

Show me the new $70k BMW that gives you more power, better handling & more options than the $70k V.

All manufacturers have issues. That includes BMW. My GM vehicles never had chipping interior panels like my BMW does.

I wasn't the one that initially brought up Cadiilac, buddy.

I guess it's not about your "jacked-up" opinion either then.

Good day, sir.
