To the OP, Seriously... With years of Road Rage and Bullshit behind me, I can say truthfully now, that you have got to let it go...

You cannot let people rent space in your head, not even for a minute. It's hard to do but it can be done and your life, your ENTIRE LIFE, will be better honestly. Took me too long to figure that out, used to get REALLY worked up in traffic and do dumb shit... Life is Sooo Much better now.

Colorado is probably the least ASSHOLE Infested State in the union, but all of your west coast States have some assholes (California is over flowing) but for the most part folks are a lot more sensible, laid back and relaxed. haha yeah I've learned that when a girl/woman complains, just listen and ask a few questions about their "problem/situation". They just want someone to listen to them and not offer advice. Women- we'll never undertand them.

It's a fine line. Do you scold them/honk/ single finger salute so they at least KNOW they were rude, and MAYBE they think a split second next time, or do you just go about your mosey and ignore??? I'm slowly moving towards the ignore, but am quick to point it out to my wife/son as a learning tool. I cna see them coming a mile and a half away. "Watch, s/he's gonna try to . . . see, I told you."

Honestly, 99% of the time, its a male who starts a fight with me. I have rarely experienced road rage from another female. But I just cant bring myself to flip a finger up or curse. Yes, I know its odd- Im from NYC. I should have no problems. Its just not nice. I only honk if theyre about to maybe change lanes into me and then they start yelling at me. Once a guy said he was going to kill me because I honked at him when he drifted into my lane.
